# SMTP Configuration

Once you have a credential, configure your application to send through Sumopod's SMTP server.

## Steps

1. Open **Email SMTP**, **Credentials**, and copy the host, port, username, and password for the credential you want to use.
   ![SMTP connection details showing host, port, and SSL](https://kencana.basic.box.cloudeka.id/bucketku-f4kxct/sumopod-doc/Guides/10-smtp/02-configure-smtp/01-host-port-ssl.png)
2. Configure your application's mail library with: host `smtp.sumopod.com`, port `465`, SSL/TLS enabled.
3. Send a test email to confirm the connection works.

## Example (Node.js / Nodemailer)

```js
const nodemailer = require("nodemailer");
const transporter = nodemailer.createTransport({
  host: "smtp.sumopod.com",
  port: 465,
  secure: true, // SSL: True
  auth: {
    user: "your_username",
    pass: "your_password",
  },
});
await transporter.sendMail({
  from: '"Sender Name" <sender@example.com>',
  to: "recipient@example.com",
  subject: "Hello from Sumopod",
  text: "This is a test email sent via Sumopod SMTP.",
});
```
