# Resource Overload

## VPS Resource Overload

If your VPS is unresponsive due to excessive resource usage:

1. **Check resource usage** — Log in via web console and run `htop` or `top` to check CPU and memory usage.

2. **Identify high-consumption processes** — Look for processes consuming excessive resources.
3. **Kill or restart problematic processes** — Use `kill` or restart the service causing the issue.
4. **Restart the VPS** — If the VPS is completely unresponsive, restart it from the Sumopod dashboard.
